Rizor found himself falling out of the sky rapidly speeding toward the ground. Rizor smacked the ground with a large thud. He had taken a blow to the head and a large bump appeared. "Oww," he groaned as he wondered where he was. He hoped that nobody was around to see him fall. 'Wasn't I just trying to pop a zit a few minutes ago?' he thought. The meadow where he had landed seemed nice but it didn't quite suit his taste. He noticed that his skin was rather rough. 'Maybe I need some moisturizer' he thought. He went over to the pond and looked at his reflection. "I'm a SANDSHREW?!" he yelped. A few birds flew out of a tree nearby. How could this have happened?

When Rizor walked over to the pond, he unknowingly stepped on something pink and squishy. "Ouch! HEY BUDDY, WATCH WHERE YOUR GOING!" The pink blob yelled at him, moving away from Rizor and glaring at him. "Careful where you step! And hey...what on earth is all this screaming about? Of course your a Sandshrew...it's as plain as day." the blob added.
The pink blob was obviously a Ditto and he still looked angry. "By the way..." He continued on, though not in as loud a voice this time. "...you might want to keep away from the water. Your type don't like water, remember? I assume you knew that but you look confused." The Ditto said.

Rizor looked stunned when the Ditto started yelling at him. 'Is that jelly with eyes?' he wondered. After the Ditto lowered his voice Rizor felt a little more comfortable talking to him. Well, as comfortable as one could be talking to jelly with eyes and a mouth. Rizor began explaining his situation as best as he could. "I shouldn't be here," he explained "I'm a human not a pokemon." He also explained that he knew about the different kinds of pokemon because he had played the card game as a child. He simply needed to see his reflection when he realized something wasn't quite right.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa kid! Back it up a bit? What are you going on about? Humans? Cards? What?" The Ditto asked. Apparently, this Ditto had been born and raised in Dimension number two. As a result, he didn't know anything about humans or the world they come from. Chances were, he's never even heard of humans.
"Quiet down. First thing's first! What is a human? What are cards? And on top of all of that, WHO ARE YOU?" He asked. It was obvious that the Ditto demanded answers. He was staring at Rizor with a still angry face and he wasn't about to stop until his questions were answered.

Rizor stared at the Ditto with disbelief. "You have never heard of pokemon the trading card game!?" he gasped, "It's only the coolest thing ever, gosh. I come from a world where pokemon can't say anything much besides their names and where humans, who evolved from primates to stand on two legs, dominate the land and befriend/control pokemon. For some strange reason we also find the need to make pokemon into cards and market them." Rizor looked around again, confused. "I'm not sure quite how I got here, but this is not the world that I come from, and a few minutes ago I was not a Sandshrew."

The Ditto listened to everything Rizor said. As he did so, the expression on his face changed from angry to blank. When Rizor was done, the Ditto just sat there, saying nothing. It seemed like he was still absorbing everything the Sandshrew said.
Finally, the Pokemon did something. A amused smirk came to his face. Suddenly, he started laughing. "A card game...about everyday Pokemon like us? Hah! Your funny kid! I like that. So tell me, what little planet did you come from?" Maybe the Ditto didn't believe him, but at least the good laugh lightened up his mood a little bit.

Rizor was surprised by the Ditto's reaction. 'What a strange little pink blob' he thought. "And what exactly is so funny?" Rizor asked, "'my planet is called earth, what exactly is this twisted place called?"
Rizor began to notice that the Ditto was taking this as a joke and tried to be convincing with his words.

"You. Your the funny one. After all, I've never met an insane Sandshrew. But hey, there is a first for everything, am I right or am I right?" The Ditto said with another laugh. Then he cleared his throat and said. "This 'twisted' place is where many Pokemon call home. Your in Dimension Number 2 my crazy little alien friend." He explained. "To be more specific though, we are in the Gateway Meadow." The Ditto added.
"Anyhow, not that your through with your little joke, tell me, where are you headed too?" He looked Rizor up and down. "Let me think...a Sandshrew like you. Let me guess. Your either headed to Grass Town or maybe Rock City? You could go either way, being a Sandshrew and all. Though I suggest going to Grass Town. It's much nicer." He said.

Rizor pondered what the Ditto had said. 'How the heck did I stumble into another dimension?' he wondered. Rizor thought about where he should go, after all he couldn't stay in this meadow forever.
Since the Ditto had said that Grass Town was much nicer that may have implied that Rock City was somewhat dangerous. So, Rizor decided to believe the Ditto and take his advice. "I am headed towards Grass Town," he proclaimed "Any chance I could acquire some directions?"

"Sure, now listen up and listen up good!" The Ditto started, but then stopped, his voice fading. He seemed to be thinking of something. "Actually, I have a better idea. I'll take you there. Yeah! How do you like that? I'll just take you there myself. After all, I could use a trip to Grass Town as well. " He said.
"By the way, the name's Frank! Now hurry up, I ain't gonna wait for you forever. You gotta keep up!" He said. Frank quickly made his way over the North Road. It was easy to see that the North Road led into a forest.
